Undaunted

Although not amused that the Padres have lost the last two NLDS games here at home, I have faith. They can travel to St. Louis and get even by winning the next two games on the Cardinals' home turf and then come home here next week so I can go to the game on Monday night. Ta da.

Was glad to see the Mets trouncing out the Dodgers. And nice work Tigers!

Took myself in hand today and expanded on my spiritual practice. Adding in some physical therapy--perhaps most people know it as house cleaning--and I scrubbed my entire refrigerator and the kitchen floor. Both very necessary tasks that I had put off for too long because I had so much else to do. It dawned on my today, that I now have the time and the inclination to scrub myself into domestic endorphinosis. (Bet this happens to Martha Stewart a lot...) The chai concentrate had spilled in the refrigerator oh so long ago and settled under the crisper drawers into a nice congealed brown mess. Not anymore. I feel so accomplished tha…

There is a rhyme to my reason...

I named this blog Breath Space because anyone who knows me, knows that I am notorious for reminding people (and myself) to B R E A T H E . . .
In fact, it's now become quite the thing to use that word in songs lyrics and dialogue and such. That's a good thing because it really is a good practice to maintain--conscious breathing.

There is a contemporary song that has been playing for awhile on the local soft rock station,
KyXy here in San Diego. And it has always appealed to me. Yet, recently, I found myself hearing the lyrics differently. I could relate to them differently these days.
So I am taking the liberty of posting them here on the blog after finding the lyrics on the web:
